Gregory W. Humphreville was born and grew up in the Chicagoland area. Before attending law school, Mr. Humphreville received a bachelor's degree in Sociology of the University of Illinois. Mr. Humphreville obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, formerly University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He excels in the areas of criminal law, restraining orders, and civil forfeitures actions.

Mr. Humphreville sought a career as a criminal defense attorney because he has been motivated by a strong personal interest in upholding the constitution (in particular, the 1st & 4th Amendment) and also due to his understanding of systematic systems of oppression existing within our society and justice system.
